When you get to the end of Chapter 1 you'll see the word "moor" and read a description of a moor in the book. The moors are an important part of the English landscape. They appear in "The Secret Garden" as well as in many other famous English novels including "Jane Eyre" and "Wuthering Heights" by the Bronte sisters. To get a better look at the moors, here are some videos where you can see this famous landscape. Don't worry about understanding all the English in these videos. You can also watch travel videos as a way to see a landscape so that you can imagine or describe it more easily.

Moors is the beauties of nature because of the nude in nature. I want to visit moors. I visited field of reeds in Sin Bul Mountain. Reeds tis aller than I. So scary~
I think everybody has different feels about the moors. The moors are picturesque, but that places are also wild and lonely. In my case, if I go to the Yorkshire moor, I will like a heath and gorse in the moor. I want to be there at the twilight hours. I have confidence that it is very nice. I visited a small island with my family when I was young. I can't remember a name of the island, it was so quiet and beautiful in my memory.
Yes, I think you're right. Everyone does feel differently about the moors. I would like to visit a wild and lonely place, but some other people might not like it. How old were you when you visited this island? Do you remember what you did there?
May be I was 5~6 years old. I did not go to the school in that time. It is general to enter the elementary school in 7-year-old(8-year-old in Korean age). I did not do any special activities because I was young. I just went here and there in the island. But it is good enough for me. Also, if I go to the Yorkshire moor, I will just see and see again around there. It will be good enough for me.
I'm coming back!!!!!!! I can't believe that! what a wonderful landscape. If i have a chance i will go there, because i love beautiful landscape. um.....i think maybe winter landscape very fantastic.
I think moor is wonderful! At the first video, I am amazing about winter moor and I want to visit there. I don't remember when I visited the moor, but I was high school student I went to Sungsan sunrise hill in Jeju island. It's a very nice nature. I want to go to Jeju island again.
It is very poplular! In Jeju, we need a car or take a bus. Many young people ride a bike following a coastal highway. Jeju Island have many attraction such as Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, Olle, Manjanggul, Mt. Halla and so on. I didn't go Mt. Halla yet. I can't forget Hyeobje beach.
I think moor is similar to Korea mountain flowers. Unlike USA our mountain are small... And, I didn't saw Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. Because of these video , l want to see them. It was very good video. I expect there movies.
After looking 1st and 2nd videos, these moors are calm and peaceful. In 2nd videos, how cute sheeps are. I want to feed sheeps and I want to touch sheep's skin. During watching 1st and 2nd videos, I think Secret Garden is mystery and fantastic.
I known the secret garden is fiction. So i thought moor is fiction, too. I realized moor is non fiction when i watch this video. This fact is very interesting to me! :)

I think moors is beautiful because of wild flowers. I want to visit moors. I visited Seorak Mountain's landscape in this summer.
